Tandem jumping allows first
time jumpers to experience the thrill and excitement of skydiving without the preparation and knowledge required for a
solo jump. It only takes 30 minutes of training, after which
you will free fall from 10,000 - 13,000 feet harnessed to a
highly skilled U.S.P.A. jumpmaster. (United
States Parachute Association).
On the plane ride to
altitude, check out Santa Barbara, Point Conception and
Vandenberg Air Force Base.
At a safe altitude, the
jumpmaster will pull the rip cord. On your level 2 Tandem
jump, you will pull the rip cord yourself. While having fun
under your high tech ram air canopy, take in the views of
the Pacific Ocean. Don’t worry, it's too far to reach by
parachute! The tranquil six-minute ride under canopy will
allow plenty of time to practice landing techniques in
preparation for a smooth, soft landing. After your
jump you will be presented with a First Jump Certificate.

A relatively fixed, inside angle, but with the jumper's initial reaction to freefall captured once the parachute opens.
Portions of the parachute ride are also included. All made possible by the creative use of a wrist camera, worn by the instructor.
- Special Video--$109
In this video, we employ another skydiver--a professional freefall videographer--to artfully film your skydive, providing you with various outside angles, broader, all around views of the striking landscape, and you the jumper. With this video, you'll also receive FREE still photos.

_We require a $50 deposit per person to make a reservation. We take walk-ins only if space is available. (To pay with a personal check, we need to receive it within 2 weeks of your skydive). If you need to cancel, your deposit will be refunded as long as you contact us 48 hours before your jump.
We are open 7 days a week. Weekends are our busiest times, so call ahead to assure yourself the best possible
reservation time.

You need to be 18 years or older. We charge $1 for every pound over 200 pounds. If you weigh more than 230 lbs special restrictions apply, so please call us for more info at 805-740-9099.

The Day of Your Jump
You will want to
wear loose, comfortable clothing. Jeans and shorts are
acceptable. No boots or flip-flop sandals. Eat normal meals. Consume neither drugs nor alcohol within 8 hours of your jump. Plan on being at the Parachute Center for up to 4 hours. On your way to the Drop Zone, you can call us to check on weather conditions and forecast. **Please bring a photo I.D. that includes your birth date.
